Four steps to a smarter drive

Kibi wraps around your existing navigation app — no turn-by-turn, no replacing what works. Just better stops and real data on every trip.

01

Set Your Vehicle

Pick your make, model, and year from 49,000+ EPA-verified vehicles. Kibi auto-fills your MPG, fuel type, and range — no manual entry.

02

Enter Your Destination

Type where you're headed. Kibi calculates where you need to stop based on your range, fuel level, time of day, and personal preferences.

03

Get the Best Exit

Kibi's algorithm scores every exit on your route and surfaces the single best stop for gas, food, and a bathroom — all at one exit.

04

Navigate & Track

Kibi launches Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze with all stops pre-loaded. In the background it tracks your CO₂ and trip stats the whole way.

Plan your drive.
Know your cost.

Enter your origin and destination and Kibi will generate a full trip breakdown — drive time, pitstops, fuel cost, and your real environmental footprint.

Built for the long drive

Five core pillars designed to make every road trip smarter, cleaner, and more enjoyable — starting with what matters most in v1.

What Kibi is not
Not a navigation app
Not a review platform
Not a social network
Not a subscription service
Not replacing Google Maps or Waze
v1

Intelligent Pitstop Planning

Kibi's algorithm scores 79,000+ highway exits on food quality, cleanliness, safety, and accessibility — surfacing the one best stop for everything you need, not three separate detours.

v1

Vehicle Intelligence

Every calculation anchored to your exact vehicle. 49,000+ EPA-verified make/model/year combinations — fuel type, MPG, and tank range auto-populated the moment you select your car.

v1

Personal Preferences

Set food preferences, accessibility needs, pet-friendliness, and safety requirements once. Applied automatically to every pitstop recommendation — no re-asking on every trip.

v1

Eco Tracking Dashboard

Real-time CO₂ per trip, a lifetime footprint dashboard, monthly trend charts, and a comparison to the US national driving average — all from your vehicle's actual EPA data.

Coming v2

Kibits — Earn While You Drive

Opt into location-aware ads at a frequency you control. Earn Kibits — a real reward currency — redeemable at gas stations and restaurants along your route.

Know your true environmental cost

Every mile you drive emits CO₂. Most drivers have no idea how much. Kibi calculates your exact footprint using your vehicle's actual EPA-verified efficiency — and shows you how it compares.

Real-time CO₂ display during every active trip
Lifetime dashboard: total emissions, gallons burned, miles driven
Monthly trend chart showing your progress over time
Side-by-side comparison to the US national average

CO₂ calculations based on EPA fuel economy data and emissions methodology. Vehicle database sourced from the EPA Fuel Economy dataset (fueleconomy.gov).

EPA-Verified Data
Every vehicle's CO₂ output is calculated from the official EPA fuel economy dataset — the same data used by car manufacturers and federal regulators.
Per-Mile Precision
CO₂ is tracked mile by mile using your specific vehicle's efficiency — not a generic average. The difference between a Prius and a truck matters.
Lifetime Trends
Every trip adds to your lifetime dashboard. See your monthly emissions trend, total gallons burned, and how you've changed your habits over time.
National Benchmark
Kibi compares your footprint against the US driving average. No judgment — just clarity on where you stand and where you could improve.

A massive market, completely unserved

Hundreds of millions of drivers take long highway trips every year. Not one of their navigation apps was built to make the drive itself better — the stops, the data, the experience.

Market sizing based on Kibitzer, Inc. internal analysis, 2024. US licensed driver figures sourced from FHWA Highway Statistics.

The Problem
Navigation apps handle routing. Nothing handles the drive.
Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze are exceptional at getting you from A to B. None of them help you find the best exit for gas and food, track your carbon footprint, or reward you for driving. That gap is exactly where Kibi lives.
The Reach
230 million licensed US drivers — and growing.
Every one of them takes long drives. Every one of them makes unplanned, inefficient pitstops. Every one of them has no idea what their car's true carbon output is. Kibi solves all three in a single app.
The Model
Free in v1. Rewarding in v2.
Version 1 is entirely free — no paywall, no ads, no friction. The goal is to build the habit and validate the pitstop engine. Version 2 introduces Kibits: drivers earn real rewards for opting into location-aware ads, creating a monetization model that benefits users rather than exploiting them.

Built on a lonely highway,
somewhere in Kentucky

Kibi didn't start in a boardroom. It started on I-65, somewhere between Atlanta and Chicago, in the middle of a pandemic — with a full bladder and an empty stomach.

Brett Moran

I
The Situation

It was 2020. My now-wife lived in Chicago. I was in Atlanta. Flights were grounded, so we did what you do — we drove. Every few weeks, one of us would make the 9-hour haul and we'd meet halfway in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

II
The Problem

Every single trip, same story: Google Maps got me there, but it couldn't tell me where to stop. I'd pull off at an exit looking for gas, food, and a bathroom — and end up making three separate stops, backtracking, or settling for whatever was closest. There had to be a better way.

III
The Idea

Somewhere on that stretch of highway, Kibi was born — in my head, at least. The first version was honestly called MVPee, because the bathroom situation was truly the breaking point. But over time, the idea grew into something bigger: a full co-pilot for every long drive.

IV
The Happy Ending

We made it work — the relationship and the app. She's my wife now. And every time we hit the road together, Kibi makes sure we never have to argue about which exit to take.
